This search can only be conducted if the client provides a vehicle with a Louisiana license plate or VIN number for the vehicle in the accident.

It is important to mention that the insurance policy search will not retrieve policy limits. Instead, it will provide the policy number and the name of the insurance company. This service can typically be completed within the same day.

If no license plate is provided, the search can sometimes still be conducted by providing the first, last name and a description of the vehicle that was involved in the accident by running an All Vehicles Registered Search. This search will bring back all registered vehicles and license plates owned by the certain individual.  If the vehicle is found through the All Vehicles Registered Search, an insurance search can then be conducted using the license plate that was discovered. Please note that including an All Vehicles Registered Search in addition to the original insurance search will incur an additional cost of $95.00.
